Nero takes up just about every bit of RAM I have, slows my comp down to a crawl... Is there any other programs you could suggest so I don't have to worry about posting in the Nero forum ever again haha... Thanks so much

Alcohol 120%. It uses very little system resources... It burns iso, though...

Double Post? This is a completely different subject than the DMA/PIO mode question

I did not mean to post this thread twice, when I tried to send it through the first time I got a message that it didn't, so I sent again. I apologize

    No harm done :)

An outstanding alternative to Nero would be VSO CopyToDVD. It's a rock solid app that hasn't given me a lick of trouble. I've had various issues with Nero over the years but in the two years I've used CopyToDVD I haven't had one single issue with it and not one failed burn. It's worth every penny.

Prassi ONES is another option, it's a lean mean burning machine with plenty of options and zero fluff. Here's a link to a great review of ONES,

    Here's a link to CopyToDVD,

To put things another way, Nero's done nothing but gather dust since started using CopyToDVD and ONES :)
