Maxell® 16x DVD-R or DVD+R Media 50-PK $11.99 SAVE $18 at OFFICEDEPOT Mar 9 - 15- May have to check on this one Have'nt Bought Maxells lately ! Mostly Verbatims /Sony's or Officedepot Branded . So I'm Not sure Who's currently Oem'ing The maxells ! But My local Officedepot Used To have a Goodly Supply of MIJ Maxells awhile back ! These are probably Newer Stock so Most likely they won't be MIJ Maxells ? But possibly still Worth a look ! Maybe I'll Check BESTBUY and Pricematch the Maxells and Use MY BESTBUY Giftcard !!!!? If they Coding out As Riteks or RicohJPN's I'll Probably Just wait For a sale on OFFICEDEPOT media cause it's usually cheaper Than The Maxellls Ciao!!!
Maxells went downhill after the 16x came out. You may want to use caution with them BigToxy69. Maxell +16x MADE IN TAIWAN: CMCMag-M01 Same MID code as some of the Staple's 25 pks and some TDK +16x.
Am using loads upon loads of the Maxell M01's, they're actually performing fine, have only had 2 bad ones out of a few hundred used so far.. i'd still rather be using RICOHJPNR03's but can't guarantee getting those anymore, and i have quite a few hundred of the M01 to use up yet
Maxell used to have some great Ricoh,Ritek,and Hitachi's. They got greedy with their 16x media. The M01's burned ok for me as well. Just slightly lower nero scores. My q's will burn anything you slap in them.

BIGTOXY69 Well, I took 5 ink cartridges, (The Max at Office Max) and walked away with 4, 50 packs of Verbatim DVD+R 16x for $38.81 total out the door! Sweet! These are the New Look Verbs too, yes, made in Taiwan too! These burn very well and look cool too!
Bunnyrip: What brand of ink carts? I got a bunch of Epson's and can't find anywhere to get $3 vouchers. Office depot told me they just quit accepting epson and canon empty carts. Staple's quit taking them over a yr ago. Dumpster diving at work gets me one HP cart here and there, LOL! The 4 larger towns within 45 mins of me doesn't have both Bestbuy and Office Max. Office depot/Office Max to the north of me. Besbuy to the south and southeast. Staple's only 10 mins from me.
Just saw the ad for the Verb's at BB. Gonna go pick some up myself. Verb's are my first choice,Maxell's my distant 2nd choice.

saugmon Office Max takes original HP,Lexmark & Dell empty cartridges & gives you $3.00 each store credit up to 5 per visit. P.S. Oh, they also say they take Brother Toner cartridgses too.

I Made the trip to The Big city to pick up some verbatims @ BestBuy yesterday ! What a Rip ! They had only one spindle of Verbatims left DVD-R's I use both But Get DVD+R's When I can ! And getting some Store Associate ( Clerk ) Whatever was an exercise in futility !! I asked one Employee for help But she claimed that she was Busy with another Customer But would Check on the Verbatims for me . Ha Ha Ha! Big Joke on me ! she proceded to walk to the front of The store ,then back to the rear of the store and then Stand around with the other BestBuy Floor staff and have a BS Party !!!! I then went to the Customer service desk and atleast To her Credit The service desk clerk did look them up on the computer/register and said That it showed 2 spindles left ! Nobody seemed to know if their were anymore in the store or the warehouse ? I being a well Mannered sasQuatch if not a well Manicured One said Thank you To her and left Empty Handed and disgusted ! Well I guess I'll wait till Next week and try again if the Blanks are sony's or Verbatims otherwise as they say in Texas El paso !!!!!!!!! Cheers all !!!!!!!!! I was told by Office Depot that they only take the ink cartridges with gold foil around the print head (like HP) The Epson and Canon have silver foil and no foil around the print head
My empty epson generics have gold foil. I guess that I'll have to raise some hell with them on my next trip to OD. That day they told me they were no longer accepting canon/epson,a lady in a suit had no trouble getting vouchers for her old canon ink carts.
Went to Best Buy and they were sold out! Drove over to MicroCenter and they had the 100 pack Verbatims for $23.99. Picked up 2. Later!
