I'm looking for some sort of software that works like a vcr where I can set it up to record at a certain time. I'm not using a tv tuner card but rather a video capture device which I'm recording from a my digital cable box if that makes any difference. I've tried looking around but just can't seem to find anything that works like this so if anyone knows anything any help would be appreciated.
ty for the reply, unfortunatly gbpvr requires some sort of a tuner whether that be dvb-t, dvb-s, analog etc. and what I was looking for was something that would work with a capture device.
OK,I see the distinction... doesn't the device come with any software? What software do you currently use to capture?
