I have an irreplacable dvd that I need to copy, but my Clone DVD says, error writing. I know this is from scratches I can see on the disk. The video does freeze or jerk around a couple times while viewing. Any method available for repairing this dvd media?? Thanks! JCLUB
Hi JCLUB you could try using isobuster, never used it personally but looking at the site it seems tobe what you are looking for Good luck http://www.isobuster.com/
Isobuster is a software program and doesn't physically repair anything...There are devices that can polish scratches of the surfaces of the discs. These are usuall carried where media are sold. Old fashioned elbow greese also can be effective....
Yeah like Dr. Skip or something like that. They usually resurface the disc. I've always been interested to know if they really work. Anyway, have you tried all the programs to rip the disc? File Mode in Decryptor is really good for it. Also, VOBB worked for a very fudged up disc (a disc that not even Decryptor can do).
Hmmm....yeah. I didn't think about trying a different program to rip it. I guess I don't really need to repair the original disk. I just want a good copy and I can try another program that might be able to read the bad disk. Dr Skip or isobuster might work too. I'll give these ideas a shot. Thanks! JCLUB
