any1 else pissed that sony on gives the US 1 color

ive noticed that with the ps2 the US only got black
when every1 else got black, silver, and white
even with the slim ps two it was the same

and now with the ps3 i heard that the US is again only getting black
even though at e3 they had all the colors

why would they only give the US one color?


and i know that I could always by them over sea and pay more to have it in a diffrent launage, but thats not the point

 

I think thats kind of stupid as well. But if i was choosing between black, white, and silver i think i would have gone with blakc any ways.

To me the black seems like the classic version. But since they have a similar controller as to ps2 it seems for it (the classic colour)is black. Unless they would have kept the "boomerrang" controller then it would have seemed to be to be a silver on the classic version. But thats just what i think it should be or is. Anyways the blakcs cool on the playstation cause the black is all shiny and reflective

Yes but why pay extra for xcm cases when you can have the other colors by default.

hey, i didnt know they were releasing other colors other places. i thought it was one color everywhere. thats what they told us before. this change recently?

 

they also have those huge game themed stickers you can put on but not take off

I think the whole thing suck the US market can support even ten colours easy.

It's all about giving people choises.

I'd take black ovver anything else but It's not just about the fact that black will sell. I would prefer to atleast know I have a choise and sit, think about it, then get the black anyway.

 

Well most ppl have black PSP so it will match. I would of picked black if i had a choice of the 3.... but white would be new since PS1 was grey, PS2 black, PS3 in white would be cool too.

 

well, i bet they will allow different cases from 3rd parties, but if its not 1st party dont by sony it may void your warrenty. i think they might have colors other than black available if they go along with their idea of custom order ps3's (where you pick the ports, the case, the hdd size, wifi, and other special things.).

So we'll see if they really do a few months after launch

 

it probably will be more of an x-mas time 1 year anniversary special thing. but then if they do go along with more custom ordering than the hdd size, hdmi, and wifi, people who baught it before will get pissed. just the same if ms released an hd-dvd built in 360 with hdmi.

 

think about it logistically....right now stores don't even know how many systems they are getting, let alone how many of each package they will get. having different colors at launch would be a fiasco....

i think sony made the right move with sticking to black. most audio/video equipment comes in black and for people like myself, i'd rather have everything one color(black)

im sure at some point they will release in the other colors. i also think as of now it is much easier for them to manufacture only one color.

 

it is, thats why i dont see why anyone is mad that there are no other colors. i for one like the shiny chrome on glossy black.

 

For the shiny crome you get if you by the more expensive ps3. But you may as well cause you get all this bonus stuff thatother ps3 wont have (the cheaper version). But yeah the shiny corme does lok good with black.
