I see 600C clones are out now, at least one make anyway. Has anybody got one? or has anybody seen reviews elsewhere?
They are brilliant. They are a newer model than the 7020 plus more ram. Why not wait a few months for the DM800 HD clone.
I am in Ireland, so waiting months for the HD clone is one thing, but I will probably be in an old folks home before they are broadcasting in HD here I see the 800 can take an external HD via USB, are there any other better features over the 600? Was your 600C from dvbseller?
Are you sure there are real dream 600 clones. For instance at a original dream600 the tuner is pluggable.
Just checked, it specifically says it is not changeable. So are there better clones out there? it would be nice to know if it did break you could just slot in new parts. Also mgb17- do you know if "the box PVR" or any other "non-linux boxes" are successfully running with only nagra 2 in europe.
The problem is more to find providers with a cracked nagra2 revision. More and more providers are changing to none cracked revisions. I personally wouldn't invest too much money in new boxes.
I've gotten a dm600s.i had a looked at them. the tuner is like a tiny pci slot. also from what i heard the dm800 is supposed to be rubbish. over prices hardware anyway.
