AnyDVD History 6.0.5.0, 8-18-06 - New: Improved support for the FluxDVD protection found on DVDs created from downloads from CinemaNow (needs CloneCD, CloneDVD 2.9.0.1 or better or CloneDVD mobile 1.1.1.0 or better to make a copy) - New: Added support for new protections to the option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors" - New: Workaround for problems with drives reporting the wrong disc capacity - Fix: Removal of some versions of the Sony Arccos protection was broken and caused navigation problems - Fix: Norwegian language file was broken - Some minor fixes and improvements - Updated languages http://static.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD.exe the site http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html
Let me ask this, will I now be able to legally download movies from cinemanow and burn them with the new slysoft? If that is the case than that is what I am going to do.
Well I spent $3.99 for the movie Pink Panther thinking I would be able to burn it with Clone dvd 2, 2.9.0.1 and it still will not work. I have any dvd 6.0.5.0 am I doing something wrong? Or it just doesn`t work?
duckone I was playing around with some speed testing last night.using clonedvd, and anydvd.. Using dvdrw, and the movie pink panther between four computers.. Guess what ,I copied the movie 4 times with out a problem..and thay played great, Using verbatim disks. So its must be the disks ye are using..or a bad movie disk.
right, but @ ireland, did you burn the downloaded version of pink panther that duckone tried to do, or did you burn a rented or bought copy of the movie? I am trying to determine if the new anydvd will now allow its users to download from cinemanow.com and succesfully burn to dvd.
bought copy of the movie pink panther.. and the problem is not anydvd..anydvd has nothing to do with downloads from cinemanow....to allow or not allow to download. AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, thats it.............period or use the right click to rip video dvd to hard drive. note i would never download a movie..as i can buy titles at wal mart as cheap if not cheaper as ye downloads....and they are on media..
@ireland what halfhere and duckone (and now me) are asking about is whether anydvd is working (as advertised...see below) in defeating the FluxDVD protection on legally downloaded movies (bought and/or rented) from legal download sites such as cinemanow. duckone is saying he had the correct versions of the software (anydvd and clonedvd2) and it did not work. any help out there? AnyDVD History 6.0.5.0, 8-18-06 - New: Improved support for the FluxDVD protection found on DVDs created from downloads from CinemaNow (needs CloneCD, CloneDVD 2.9.0.1 or better or CloneDVD mobile 1.1.1.0 or better to make a copy)
no no silly. What I was asking was due to the copy protection that was just defeated by anydvd with the protection fluxdvd. I had thought that the protection found on commercial dvd's such as fluxdvd found on cinemanow.com websites would only allow the movie to be downloaded and only able to play on the pc. I know what the purpose of anydvd does and how it works, I was under the impression that the updated version now allows the legal download of hollywood approved movie sites that distribute copy protected movies, that now anydvd will bypass that protection and burn directly to dvd. Therefore instead of going to ie.walmart and purchasing a dvd for 7$, you can download a 3.99 movie and have the same effect.
Yea, we know how it works but I download from CinemaNow and it want work as they say. Clone will not pick it up from the folder I have it in????
>> Yea, we know how it works but I download from CinemaNow and it want work as they say. << They don't say that. They say, that you can make copies of protected DVDs you have *burned* with fluxDVD with the CinemaNow "download to disc" (or whatever it is called) service. AnyDVD only cracks protections on discs, of course. Not DRM protected download files.
clonedvd will burn only dvds or dvd files. Your download must be in a different format, so you would need software that burns that type of files into dvds. Nero maybe... Makes sense?? Or I got it all wrong??
