I have had Anydvd and CloneDVD for about a year now and I have not had many problems, until today. I downloaded the current version, then tried to copy a movie and I got a message that I can't copy copy protected movies. Anybody know what’s going on?

I got it to work, but I had to change my country in AnyDVD to Europe, and that looks like it is working. But their tech support has been down and there is a message on one of their pages that says something about new laws in effect.

Glad you got it working. Are you in Eropa? I spent almost 5 year in Germany from 68 to 73. Really liked it. Did not come home once in 5 years, just toured Europe. Loved Spain and Italy. France is pretty, good cheese and wine!

No, I really live in Maryland, but when I had North America as the default region I would get a message that I couldn't copy copy written material and the program wouldn't go any farther. So I changed the region to Europe and Near East. Now I just copied a DVD and everything is working ok. I wonder if it’s because I just added a Sony DVD burner and some of their software to my system?

Quick question-off toic: With a DVD-RW disk, if I write on movie o it, and later want to put a second, does the machine(Lite-on) just "go where it should start-after the first", or is there something I have to do to account for it> Thanks, Jim
