I hear a lot of people running AnyDVD(???) while using DVD Decrypter. Can somebody explain what AnyDVD is and why running it with DVD Decrypter will do anything?

Oh yeah and how long before DVD Decrypter becomes obsolete? Is there another similar program currently in the works?

    Thanks for any help.

I believe when ppl heard dvd decrypter was no longer going to recieve updates they opted 4 the next best thing. any dvd is probably being used as just a back-up 4 when they introduce new protection for dvd's that decrypter can't handle

btw decrypter is still going strong haven't run across any thing it could'nt crack wide open.

I have heard good things about dvd fab decrypter they have updated it now and I heard they fixed all compatability issues I have yet to try it might try it on Constantine here in a minute. just as a test run.

what does anyDVD do exactly? Is it a replacement ripper? I heard it removes the menu locks at the beginning of most movies that programs like Shrink do automatically.

AnyDVD is a driver that runs in the background and removes the copy protections while your dvd is encoding.
