Is it necessary to use AnyDVD along with DVD Decrypter? If DVD Decrypter had a problem breaking the copy protection - would it let me know there was a problem?

I'm assuming only newer DVDs that have been released might require AnyDVD.

    Thanks.

DVDDecrypter has No Problem breaking any of the protections, if used in the ISO Read Mode and it’s FREE.. And No you don’t have to run AnyDVD with Decrypter unless you are using Decrypter in the File F Mode..

Use this Guide and you’ll be able to backup any disc Old or New using only DVDDecrypter and DVDShrink. Both Free and can be downloaded from the Guide:
    http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/petesguide13.html

This Guide also gives you settings for Decrypter that work very well on problem discs. That is, Dirty or Scratched discs. If the problem is a Bad Pressing the only way to overcome is to exchange the Disc for a better copy…

The easiest way to backup with little effort and not very many problems is to invest in AnyDVD and CloneDVD2.. Both have a 21 day free trial period…
