    Hello,

I formerly used Ripit4Me and ImgBurn for DVD's backups. Now that Riptit4Me site has been discontinued I am looking for new software for backing up my DVD's. Can I use Slysoft's AnyDVD and Imgburn to do the job or must I purchase AnyDVD & CloneDVD? Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I use AnyDVD with Shrink for most movies. Then burn with Imgburn.
When there is a movie that combination won't handle, I rip to the HD
using AnyDVD, then run through FixVTS. After that I use Shrink and
    Imgburn.
    Sometimes I still use RipIt4Me.
AnyDVD will be the best dollars spent on any program. I've been
using it for a long time now and love it. The other programs I use
are mostly the free ones even though I also own DVDXCopy and Nero.
There are some really good guides in the member submitted guide
section that should be of great help to you in deciding what you want
    to use.
By the way AnyDVD has a free 21 day trial period. That is a really
good way to find out how much you will like it.

Since no one has responded you probably should use the search function and read a bit...

Thanks all for the info. I will checkout the guides and see whats what. Several people have told me that ANYDVD does not work with well with anyother program Except theres - CloneDVD. I can imagine why.

I don't know who told you that. I use AnyDVD all the time with a number of different programs. Don't even own Clone.
It is the best program out. I've been using it for quite some time.
It works really well with Shrink (except on Sony movies). The other
program that I think is fantastic is FixVTS(a free program). It
corrects all those blank cell and structure problems that Sony keeps
    putting on their disc.

I have not encountered any programs other than dvd43 and dvdfab that have conflicts with anydvd... but they do the same job, so you not need those others.

For a while there the AnyDVD/Shrink combo had a bit of a problem working together. Slysoft seems to have that sorted out with the last three or four updates. It's an excellent method (I use it a lot) but AnyDVD will always be most compatable with CloneDVD. They are designed to work together.
