AnyDvd/CloneDvd2 or DvdFab 6 won't do Sherlock Holmes?

Can anyone help me out with this? I went & bought my copy of Sherlock Holmes & trying to make backups for my friends to borrow so they don't kill my original. I've tried running it thru Anydvd with CloneDvd2 & it get to 88% of reading & says an unexpected error occured & quits. Then when I try with dvdfab 6 & it reads it all the way but then when it goes to burn it to the disk it says error again. Sorry forgot to write down the exact errors, was real frustrated with it. Can anyone help me out this? using anydvd 6.6.1.5 & dvdfab 6.23 or w/e it is. Thanks in advance everyone.
