    Hi,

I'm a first timer here, and I am trying to make a backup of a dvd. After going through the process of using AnyDVD to remove the copy-protection, I use Copy DVD 3 to burn the DVD. I can view the DVD using Copy DVD 3, but if i put it in my dvd player, nothing happens. Also, it won't run if I try to use Windows Media Player. I chose the clone option, and the structure looks the same, but I can't figure out how to make it work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah, it's kind of hard to screw up recording using that program. I'm looking for something else. I've tried DVD X Copy Platinum and get the same thing, and Roxio won't finish the job for some reason. I'm using Plextor drives PX-116A and PX-708A if that sheds any light.

I've had some very strange results using DVD Copy 3. Try DVD Shrink with AnyDVD. That's pretty much a guaranteed success.
