When I start up DVDfab it tells me that I should disable anyDVD first. Is there any real need to do this? Regards, Matt
If you put a Canine and a Pitbull in the same cage, what do you see/get? The same thing apply to DVDFAB and AnyDVD because they don't get along, meaning they'll just conflict each other and you're likely to end up with some kind of errors. They're both rippers, so it's best to disable or shut down AnyDVD when your using DVDFAB Decrypter to rip or vice versa. Good luck.
I expected as much. The ripper in anyDVD just runs that little bit slower than DVDfab. I guess I can live with the extra few mins wait. Cheers.
Hmmm... this is a no no, I wouldn't recommend going that route. Yes, even Fengtao, the author behind DVDFAB Decrypter recommend all users to "disable or shut off" AnyDVD, DVD43 or other engines running on the background if your ripping via DVDFAB. Furthermore, I'm sure "Slysoft" said the same thing about other rippers if your using AnyDVD. However, the choice is yours. Best of luck to all.
@alkohol is it possible that dvdfab and dvdfab decrypter work differently with anydvd? I have never had an issue, warning, or failure with anydvd runnning witrh dvdfab decrypter. In fact, is seems that dvdfab decrypter needs anydvd to function and remove protections on newer movies. I will check to see if I have the latest version of decrypter, but I wonder if this is an actual operating issue or the creators of the respective programs just not wanting to work together... I do not buy the conflicting program argument with these two programs, either that or I have been lucky more than 150 times.
@res2cue No DVDFAB Decrypter doesn't need AnyDVD. Like I've stated on my very first post, DVDFAB Decrypter is already a ripper. AnyDVD is a decrypting engine that's running in the background (that's before), now SlySoft has add a ripper to it that's all.
Hmm.. maybe I don't have the latest version... but I know there were movies I couldn't do without anydvd, thats why I bought it... maybe I have been causing myself alot of unnecessary work. Tonight I'll make sure I have the latest version and try backing up Click.
