AnyDVD Issue

    I download the trial of AnyDVD to see how it works, and it will not read my dvd drive, even though all my other programs will. How can I fix this issue?

    Make sure the "show information" box is checked, and the red fox is on the tool bar....

    It is, it says that there isn't a dvd drive available.

    Did you restart after you installed AnyDVD? Are you getting the message that the drive is not enabled, or drive is disabled. You can try an uninstall and then reinstall of AnyDVD and then restart your computer. If this does not work, and you are running XP you can uninstall your drive in the Device Mgr, and then restart, XP will install your drive again, and hopefully AnyDVD will then pick it up.

    Maybe you have to update the drive?

    But what arniebear said is what i would do.
