AnyDVD now removes DRM rootkits,WE ALL KNEW THAT,{RIGHT}?

Cures for Sony and Macrovision DRM infections

By Charlie Demerjian: Monday 17 April 2006, 07:03
I HAVE BEEN drooling over the inherent goodness of AnyDVD for quite a while, and it just added another killer feature.

Starting with last week's release, 5.9.5.6, the program will remove CD DRM infections and corporate malware disguised as copy protection.

Since the virus scanning companies apparently had their silence bought by the media mafia, someone had to stand up and be counted, and it looks like Slysoft is that someone.

Basically, any of the root-kitting malware from Sony, and the newer root-kitting-ish Macrovision CDS-300 system software will be removed for you. Corporate evil removed, happy users can play the CDs like any old red book audio, it just works.

I can't recommend this program enough, check it out here. ยต

I have to agree I keep having nightmares that someone will make them an offer they can't refuse. You know what happens to sw that really starts making it big in marketshare, they get gobbled up.

Thats exactly why I support and recommend AnyDVD always,
Hopefully they would rather have my money than big corparation's,
And whatever loophole lets them produce this software stays in
place for a very long time.

Hopefully they keep refining this product to cross over
to the newer HD media. because WE KNOW sony will have BLUE ARCOSS
    In there new Blu-ray media.

The upcoming months will be interesting at best.

Someone will step in and take AnyDVD's place, should they ever be tempted to sell out. If they did, they would probably pass on the technology to the their programers. I'm sure that keeps the Hollywood Moguls at bay. Just throwing money away. Just remember what happened after Napster was shuttered. How many programs showed up?

Yeah but IMHO none of them compared with the original free napster, I got many a tune from them. Sigh, how I yearn for that program.

So right arniebear! Napster was tops. I got so many on a dialup. SLOW, but steady. Nothing did ever come close again.

AnyDVD is one of the best programs ever ... I don't see how those guys can afford to stay in business with all the great updates and all ... I mean, I spent my money quite a while ago and have received the original value many many times over ..

    THANK-YOU ANYDVD!!

    @aabbccdd

What is wrong with you sig pic, it is coming through very strange on my side? The bottom half is very dark, almost like a negative, and the upper half is normal. Noticed it in the docTY thread too.

arniebear, I would suspect that either the machine you're using is causing the problem or your eyes are getting tired ... the picture looks just fine (stale, but fine) from where I'm sitting

aahhh .. aol .. that explains it

aol is simply censoring what you're viewing .. my Insight Broadband doesn't believe in censorship

Your aol isn't censoring my sig pic is it? Of course not, she's too beautiful to deface that way

I check the wife's comp and the pic comes in fine, don't know what is going on considering there does not seem to be any problem with anything else other than your sig pic. The computer I am on is only 7 months old and has a ATI Radeon X600 256mg if it is bad I will kill myself.
