Hello all. First time poster. I've read for awhile and learned alot. Nice to find a forum that contains enough information that even a relative Newbie like myself can learn to burn backups in a couple of reads. My question is this. Can you download AnyDVD updates as a file? I have a system that I use online and a stand alone offline system that I used to burn, and record music. (and now DVD's) I keep this system offline to prevent the possiblilty of viral and spyware problems affecting my audio recording software and files which are very important to me. What I would like to do is download the updates and then transfer them via cd to my stand alone box. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Stitch15
@Stitch15 Welcome to aD! When you update AnyDVD yes you'll download a file. From there you can burn it to a cd and transfer to the other pc. I do the same thing with my pc's I download the file but transfer via flash stick.
I use a flash disk too. I have the new Anydvd 5.9.6.0 in my flash disk ready to be installed when i get home.
I never even thought of using a flash stick. I have one that currently sits under three inches of dust. It doesn't have huge storage capabilities so I never used it for anything. This is a perfect application for it. Thanks for the help. Stitch.
