Hey guys, I'm new to this DVD ripping and burning deal...how do you use AnyDVD...do you just leave it on in the background? Also, I was trying to rip a DVD with AnyDVD in the background and a cyclic redundancy error came up...was AnyDVD supposed to do anything about it? and Last question: what is cylic redundancy error? Thanks for all responses
Hi aseb1986, Yes Anydvd just runs in the background. If you see the little red fox in your system trayin the lower right then it is active. The CRC error can be caused by several different things. 1.Possible encryption that your decrypter can't handle but if you have the latest Anydvd I doubt this is the problem. 2.Damaged original dvd. Scratches, chips or even finger prints. 3.Corrupt data on the original. Sometimes even on brand new dvds from bad manufacturing process or corrupt data from improper burn if trying to recopy a burned dvd. Always make sure your original is clean and free of visible defect before trying to copy it. Jerry
