I have both anydvd and clonedvd installed..paid versions that is..but the problem I have is that when I download a new version of anydvd then reboot what happens is the next time I go to use clonedvd it invariably tells me this is a copy-protected dvd and clonedvd was not made to work with copy-protected material...At that point all I can do is do a system restore on my computer to take it back to the older version and then things work as they should but I don't know how I can upgrade to the newer versions...has anyone else run across this problem???? thanx

if your not having any problems with your current versions... why upgrade.

think about how many people use media player classic rather than media player 9 or 10

heetseekr, shoot me a PM. I'll help you out.

SypherTek: AnyDVD keeps their software updated by keeping up to date with any of the latest encryption methods and or changes to media. By using the current software he has, he may not be able to decode all types and methodology of encryption which are currently in use.
