I downloaded anydvd and it says my DVD still has a copywrite on it....i think the patch may have got to my hard drive...I've uninstalled and nothing works.....I have a fire wall and it asked if I wanted anydvd to access the net....I think that is where I screwed up.....any suggestions?
Hi brienvitz I'm just a bit confused - did you buy AnyDVD cause you mention a patch. No help here (forum rules) if you didn't buy it. Well worth the $ though - or there are free programs you can use too.
I was going to buy it....its a free trial. But I instaled it and it still gives me the copyright error.
There's DVDFAB Decrypter and RipIt4Me (both are FREE and great). What else? Do you need help? For more info, check out the 2 links under my sig. Best of luck!!
Did you have AnyDVD installed at any previous time? Today is the last day of the $5 discount off the price for AnyDVD. Ripit4me is great. Try it as alkohol suggested. He's also written a great guide, the link to which is in his signature.
If you've used the AnyDVD trial in the past, until they issue a version that wipes out previous trial history, it won't work without buying. That's what I was getting at.
I don't think that would affect your current system but that's the only thing that makes any sense. You might try safe mode. AnyDVD is supposed to go into a compatibility mode. I've never tried it. Do you have any other DVD related drivers installed?
I just read the AnyDVD change history and they've eliminated the safe mode and say it's no longer necessary. I'm out of ideas. Something is conflicting it seems.
Are you downloading the trial from slysoft's site? What patch are you talking about? Try running a registry cleaner like ccleaner. Use the issues and cleaner options. This may or may not help. Ever have DVD43 installed on this pc?
Did CC clean.....nothing.....still getting error.....try to run DVD shrink with it and gives me a copyright error
Ok so you downloaded the trial from slysoft right? You have AnyDVD running right? You see the red fox in the system tray?
Alright i Downloaded Anydvd ripper ripped nacho libre saved it to videos but i cant open it up where should i save it to?
Hi ptballer You can save it to where ever you want to on your hard drive(s). Nacho libre didn't have much on it copy protection wise. In Shrink you would just pick the video_ts folder from the folder you saved it to from AnyDVD. Are you trying to open it in Shrink? Have you tried just having AnyDVD run in the background with Shrink? Region 1 was no big deal - see what copy protection is on yours. Right click on the red fox in the system tray (means it's running) go to settings>program settings. Check the box 'show infomration media for new media" Now pop the original in and it will give you a box you can copy and paste in your post.
@brienvitz If you downloaded AnyDVD from slysoft and used it and then tried to install it on another pc, the problem may lie in your internet address. AnyDVD talks to slysoft after the installs and updates to validate the ownership. There in may lie your problem. Go ahead and buy the program, it's well worth the price of 2 DVDs to have the convenience of backing up anything easily.
