where can i get anydvd for free? i only get a free trial and i want the whole thing or better yetwhat is the best PROGRAM(s) out there. name a couple please
Hi 62130, Sorry to dissapoint but....AnyDVD isn't free. Read up on the threads posted before you buy it, to understand it's uses. If you use the search utility at the top of the page, and type in "AnyDVD" the hit the go button...you'll get all the info you need. Happy reading Try this link written by Alkohol, very useful stuff! http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/422740 Here's another link for software AND guides, by bbmayo. http://webpages.charter.net/bacitup/ Hope all this helps out. Cheers.
AnyDVD6112 is out here: http://sandbox.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD6112.exe currently ripping with NeroRecode whole disc. Will not burn it cause previous version wotked well enough with clone last night.
@garmoon, Whats the story with that version, why havn't Slysoft updated their page for downloading that version? Cheers.
@onya They're still working out Saw 3 so probably won't have an official version till then (?). From Slysoft on another site with the latest beta: The "Saw III (R1)" issue has not been addressed, I am waiting for my original disc to arrive. From customer reports: You can copy "Saw III (R1)" full disc with CloneDVD2 when deselecting the "bogus" titles. You can copy "Saw III (R1)" movie with CloneDVD2 when deselecting with or without menus.
anydvd 6112 doesn't solve the whole disc problem with Recode either. It recodes the file but won't burn it because 7vob is missing. They will work it out they always do.
To answer the question as to why 6112 is not on the Slysoft notice for update: (I asked this same question on another thread) It was explained to me that a beta version is an experimental version you download and use at your own risk. When the version is tested it is put on the official site as an update. That doesn't mean that all the official versions are bug free. 6017 has some problems, but I am sure they will get them worked out. I feel that AnyDVD is one of the best programs out there and well worth the price. I'm also glad the experts are trying the beta versions and finding the problems because I'm not up to speed enough to do that. Hope this explanation helps.
@garmoon,, how and where do you get this info from slysoft? i go to there home page and dont see anything like the beta version there??? is Ireland giving you his secret?????lol as of right now for this movie from what everyone has been saying on here Ripit4me is the way to go with this movie(saw3).. plus RI4M updated today i think(i went to use RI4M and it said update available)
Ireland explained to me what the beta version was, but he was not the person who told me how to find it. There is another forum called club.cdfreeks.com that was mentioned by someone else. Under their AnyDVD forum there were listed links to a special site that has these beta versions. I have not visited this other forum much and do not know the accuracy of the information being furnished because I have not spent enough time reading their posts. On Afterdawns forums I have spent a good deal of time reading posts and trust the experts here. They have been extremely helpful. I simply posted the explanation of a beta version because I was very confused about what it meant until it was explained to me. It always helps to understand the terms you are reading.
Have followed the various posts on AnyDVD (and other products) both here and on the CDfreaks forum. Have found many knowledgeable posters on both forums. The AnyDVD info on CDFreaks is quite reliable as a couple of their employees post there on a regular basis.
Thanks for the information on reliability. It always helps to have all the current available information when you are learning.
Hi all, got this link from poolpro, it's THAT site with the beta releases etc http://www.free-codecs.com/index3.htm Cheers. @binkie7, i noticed on a thread that you recently posted that your links were the word LINK, How is this done?
@cincyrob Got the update from a Saw3 thread at AD. Don't remember who provided it. I got AnyDVD 6017 to work with CloneDVD just the movie which is all I ever do anyway. Ripit4me worked yesterday(did whole disc) without the update. You just have to have patience and let the burner read the disc. My Benq1650s hated the disc but the LG read it. anydvd beta 6112 is at link in above post
@garmoon 7 is a bad file in this disc so that probably why Nero failed - might work if you made a still image of it and the others. Unchecking them w/ Clone works - 6.1.0.7 didn't do it for me but 6.1.1.1 did. @onya Use the icons on top of the message box. Type in name between braces (no asterisks) [*url=http://afterdawn.com]afterdawn[/url*] will look like this: afterdawn
Binkie 7 The07_VOB file is the bad one, correct. It's not needed doing the movie only. The file is the scene where you select play, extras, setup etc before the movie begins with 08_VOB. There is also something in 08 that causes reader to read slow a first part of file. If you remove 07VOB then you can't do whole disc because an important piece is missing. That's what recode told me when after ripping with Nero Recode and encoding, the burn failed.
The 6111 beta version worked on Saw 3. Yes, it was the Unrated Version (region 1), and yes, it was a full disc backup that I did. With AnyDVD running, I used the beta 4 version 2130 of VOB Blanker to rip the movie. I also blanked the unnecessary warnings, trailers, etc. Then I used Shrink to compress and burn with Img Burn. Needless to say, the backup worked flawlessly.
