I just got Hitch today and am not able to back it up with Shrink - gives a message about copyright protection. Haven't had a chance to try Decrypter yet. Has anyone been able to back it up, and if so, how did you do it?

    Thanks!

Hitch has the Sony/Columbia special protection on it.
I backed it up with latest version of DVD Decrypter in File Mode.
Then use Shrink to open file and compress as normal.
Decrypter will break the special protection allowing Shrink to do its thing....

    Hi there,

Using ISO mode would have worked also I guess.

All it does it make an ISO instead of copying the files to a folder.

The commonality of what cougar_ii said and what I said is:
    Use DVD Decrypter.
I am sure others have used Shrink or Nero Recode et.al in combination with AnyDVd to crack it.

I used dvd decrypter in file mode and then used dvd shrink to rip it then I burned it.
