hello . can someone please snd me all the firmware i will need to update my starview 1 box or would you send me the new codes for the telewest areea if thats allowed. i tried to update my starview 1 genuine box with some firmware i found on the internet but it did not work i used cryptstar -v1.5-core257 genuineonly and that didn't work so i tried cryptstar-v1.5-core400 aand that did not work either i i downloaded them onto my box using GTRomv4.00 i have updated my box a few months ago so i do know what to do. anyway if anyone out there would be kind enough to help me out by emailing all the software i will need please will you help me out.
When you say it didnt work, what do you mean? Did a b0x pop up saying download complete when you flashed it?
Hey obstacle1, The starview software is already out! have a l@@k at Eamos Library http://eko.4shared.com/ then go to starview 1 then firmware and you will see the Dec fix for Clone and Genuine click ok then you will see CryptStar-v1.5.zip and downoad it, you just need to have Gtrom V.4 copy the crypstar v1.5 core 400 file to Gtrom and clik download, make sure your box is on standbye. once complete wait till the update % completes itself., if you have any problems make sure your key emu is turned on.

yes.i have down the download on previous occasions months ago but this time the even though i went through the download process corrctly it still didn't work.
Go to s*y two, if you`re in Ireland, s*y sports for the uk. Menu 1570 Go to set default key > press ok make sure the key emu is on Exit back to the channel & let it update.
