I googled "DS Lite help forum" and this came up first, so I'm going to post here. Sorry if it doesn't belong.

Anyways, recently my DS has been shutting off 95% of the time whenever I open the lid from being closed (usually when it reaches about 45-90 degrees in angle), and now it does the same thing whenever I adjust it while it's open to be at an angle <90 degrees.

Does anybody know why it might be doing this?

It's quite annoying; feedback would be appreciated.

My only guess is something has come loose or been worn away and when your opening the lid it's causing it to move and short out which would then turn off the DS.

If it is that your only options would be to send it away to be fixed (if it's still within warranty it shouldn't cost you) or open it up and see if you can fix it yourself, of course only if you think you could.

Wait and see if anyone else has another theory but that's my one.
