Anyone Knows Firmware?

    Hey, i recently had a problem with my DVD ROM drive. I think i may have installed the wrong firmware on it does anyone know what to do to fix a drive with bad firmware? Seeing how my comp cant detect it... how am i supposed to fix the firmware?

    Go to the manufacturer's site, download the proper firmware, and install it.

    the drive is not detected on my computer and when the firmware program asks to pick the drive its not there...

    if a desktop/tower case than get a new drive as they are cheap enough now

    don't worry about it as i've done it to a motherboard oncw but was able to fix it & mistakes happen
