    Not only a big improvement over 2.3.2.0, but in the E-Z pick mode note the little quips at the bottom of the imgburn window. It changes each time you go from ( write, read, build,etc )one mode and then back to the E-Z pick frame. Have fun!

    Posting your ImgBurn.log would help.

    @barb
    agree with these fellow members...post the error log and someone should be able to help.

    As far as the updated ImgBurn...i love it. It's the best burning engine out there and Lightning UK made improvements. Rock on!

    barb1, please start your own thread for your problems as hijacking is against forum rules.

    Has anyone had a look at the changelog to see just exactly what LUK has been doing for the last year....quite an accomplishment, my hats off to the wee lad.

    These changes should get the big dogs, such as Nero, Roxio, Sonic etc. on their toes.

    That's no joke. Personally i've always preferred ImgBurn to those anyway.

    I read through the list of updates, adds, and fixes, pretty good stuff in there.

    My favs:

    I am once again impressed with Lightning UK and this burn engine.

    Me too, but for audio and multisession work I'd have to look for an alternative...but not anymore. This would be the biggest threat IMHO. Everything else is just a bonus. I probably won't use the EZ-mode picker as I'm used to the way I've always used Imgburn in the past, but it is a good feature for those new to the DVD/CD world that need an easy to use GUI to get started.

    Exactly! I've already turned that off. I think it will help the noobs a bit.

    Yeah, the audio adds sound pretty sweet. I have yet to try and do anything with it, but i'm glad it's a feature now.

    It works very well. I've yet to crosscheck it, but it seems as if the sound is clearer and louder than that I've burned with Burrrn! I need to burn the same disc using Burrrn! to see if this is the case.

    I need to buy some CD's first, but I'll keep everyone informed.

    That's probably down to the normalize_audio method used.. you need to ensure that you are actually using the same settings for each application.

    I know and I've not tinkered with either programs settings, I would be comparing each from a default state.
