    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone was successfully using any type of box in the Cavan Town area in Ireland? Service in the area is supplied by a crowd called 'Smyths' and that's the only option other than Sky (No n*l or ch*r*s). I don't know what type of service it is though; cable or MMDS.

I have an SV2 Box that works fine in the Kildare region with ch*r*s but when I brought it down to Cavan I had no joy. Could the problem be that the service in Cavan is MMDS??

If anyone has any information or suggestions I would be really greatful, thanks!

I just found a reference to the crowd that service the Cavan region on the web (Smyths Audio/Video Systems Ltd - Cavan) and it says that they are a local analogue cable TV company that provides 'only analogue television services. They may not offer digital TV, telephony, or internet services'.

Does anyone know if the 'analogue' bit means that a box will not work??
