Anyway to id blank-dvds with a DVD-DRIVE

    My computer is in RMA hell and I burrowing labtop which im using right now. Now burner on it but it can read and play DVD's fine. I just want to know if these Taiyo Yuden are for real.

    What burning software are you using?
    If it's Nero, check in the "Extras" part, for "Disc Info". It will tell you.
    If not Nero, check in the menus, and see if there's a "Disc Info", or something similar.

    You can always do a Google search for a disc info utility. Also check at some freeware or shareware sites, such as http://www.versiontracker.com
