So I have the three disks as ISOs, and when I mount them with daemon tools, the screen pops up and i hit play game. So it goes through the whole intro sequence, but after the drum roll, once you start to hear the menu melody, it minimizes and says Age of Empires III has encountered a problem and needs to close and all that gibberrish. I apologize to the mods if this is breaking rules but I did read the Windows-Games thread that said we can't talk about backups in there and it should go in this forum. Hopefully this is appropriate for this forum. :)

I don't understand why people make ISO filee out of games. YOu can make perfect back up using alcohol and just mount it and bam it works like a charm.

    That's exactly what I did.

Did you try patching it then? Are you using the latest version of Daemon?

I didn't have a problem with this game. I installed it inserting the 3 disk when asked. Then I found a no-cd patch so my original CD1 will not be scratched up.

You shouldn't have to mount it if you use a no-cd patch.
