AOPEN DUW 1608/ARR Dual layer issue

Hello everyone,

I am new to this site however, any help you can provide me would be most gracious.
I have an AOPEN DUW 1608/ARR dual layer burner and I cannot seem to burn a dual layer disc on it.
For example I wanted to burn Titanic SE to a dual layer disc so I used Nero and selected DVD 9 in place of DVD 5 and it started copying but when it came time to copy to the next layer i got an error message.
The burner will not recognize a dual layer disc
My question is how can I copy dual layer discs on my dual layer burner is there a fix or update that can correct this problem?
Please help as I really would like to copy dual layer movies to a blank dual layer disc
