   my computer does not have a firewire port on it, but it does have a usb port on it, if i buy the
   Eforcity's Apple iPod USB/1394 Y Cable can i still transfer music to it using just the usb port?

   yes you can & you can go both directions, up & downloading to & from pc & ipod. i do that all the time but not to an ipod but to a laptop drive in an external usb case to use on customers' computers, save downloading from net especially on dialup
