Application transfer.

    Hi, im getting a new pc, is there anyway i can transfer all my applications?

    @Nicklt
    It won't be as easy as just transferring them from one to the other - you'll need to reinstall all the applications on the new pc.
    Me - I just re-download the latest versions of the apps I'll use - store the .exe's on an external hard drive. Then hook the external to the new pc to reinstall.

    Yeah, i could do that... but i have programs like visualbasic.net that i NEED but i dont have the CD for it anymore because my friend i lent it to lost it.. is there anyway i can get that across?

    Well unless you have the install .exe saved on the pc. But check MS';s site to see if they have a trial download.
    There maybe other sites too that host it for download.

    If you can't find the serial # in the software itslf it will be in your registry - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software. Then find the Visual Basic folder - it should be in one of those.
