Are there any applications which can burn .gi images besides RecordNow Max and Primo DVD. I can't get either to recognize media in my pioneer A05. Nero works fine and so does the DLA which comes with RecordNow Max. I have the updated pxengine (358).

Are you sure, I can't seem to get A120 to work with .gi's. I don't think they are supported. Have you actually done it? If so please let me know how.

    Thanks

Well, I have backed up a few ps2 games using Alcohol 120% and I'm pretty positive that it will build and then burn a global image.

Why don't you explain exactly what you are trying to do and maybe I can help you.

I'm just trying to burn a .gi. I already have the .gi and want to burn it to a DVD-RW. I clicked on Image Burning Wizard and then tried to load the .gi which wasn't recognized. I also tried doing an image search on the drive with the .gi and it didn't find the .gi even though it was there. Can you let me know how you burn a .gi with Alcohol?

    Thanks

I've never tried it that way. You built the .gi file with another application and are trying to burn with Alcohol 120%?

This might not work as Alcohol creates an .mdf file maybe that's why it won't recognize the .gi file. Can you create the image again using the original disc?

The only other apps I know of (that I've used) which use .gi files are Nero, RecordNow and Primo.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

It appeared to be some conflict with my controller. Once I moved it off my ATA 133 Controller and onto the regular IDE port (as a slave), Prassi worked fine. Weird, must be some software / hardware issue. Thanks for the help.
