AR max and knife trick

I've got ar v2 and i was thinking of upgrading it with the ar max upgrade but i would like to know if i can use the knife trick with ar max?

i got an AR max, the cd doesnt stop spinning so i dont think the knife trick works, but i think certain versions of it do stop the disc.

 

I Own An Ar Max And Lastnight I Opened Up My Ps2 And Then took The Four Screws Off My Disk Drive, Swaped With Soccom 2 And It Said Ar2 Max Cannot Read From This Disk.
It Is The First Disk I Have Written And I Dont Know If I Have Done It Wrong, I Used Dvd Decryptor.

i dont think you can use it as a swap disc

 

U can't.
I've got a messiah 2 133b I got of the net but most people want between £50-70 for fitting I think I'll buy swap discs and flip lid just now.
