I was considering whether to purchase Xilisoft DVD Audio Ripper, (instead of using DVD Decrypter, Besweet, etc.) But I was reading the DVD Audio Ripper guide and it said "You may edit ID3 tag by entering the info in the “Genre”, “Album”, “Artist” and “Year” boxes. MP3 format supports ID3 tag while Wave format doesn’t."
My question is: should I be archiving in MP3 or WAV format?? Or does it make a difference?? File size is no problem, I have a 400GB HD. It seems I read somewhere on this site that WAV was the "best sounding" format, Is this correct??
Heck, I read so much on this site that I might be mixed up.
I thought it would be nice to ID the songs.

WAV files are the best you can get in terms of quality. They have large filesizes. I have no idea why they can't be tagged though.

As far as MP3's go VBR is the best.
