Hello, I would use GordianKnot http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/gordian_knot.cfm with the XviD codec. But some folks have trouble encoding compliant AVIs, and prefer DivX codec... I haven't used DivX since v/5.1, so can't really say :^) But you must learn the specific requirements of your Archos device, and keep them in mind when configuring your codec settings. Regards
