are 1st starview boxes still worth buying

    just wondering is it still worth buying 1st starview boxes,a few friends of mine are thinking of buying them...i said i could put the updating firmware on but i am just wondering if they go down again will they bother doing new firmware for a box that has been around for so long

    must be all clones by now lol,2and 3 also cloned,digivox not cloned

    I have SV1 nearly 2 years and its still going strong lol and if I can guess right , YES they will do firmware for these if they go again :)

    good one celtic i thought they where getting outdated,as new boxes are getting better [ i hope lol ]so maybe a new sunrise might happen

    @ sid 999, Like celtic, i have a sv1 nearly 2 years & never had any trouble with it, but if your looking for a similiar b0x thats never been cloned, then (as cactikid said) the digiv0x is your best bet.(epg is more stable than the sv1.)

    thanks ..i will tell them if they can get starview for the right money to have them if not then try the digivox...ps my starview is going strong two years old as well....
