i saw that someone was saying that console games arent as good as the PC 1's. And any of the new consoles will not sell?
what do you think. i think consoles will be here for a long time. consoles are made for games and PC is not only for games. and unless u have a joystick the game are hard to play.some games belong on PC only like age of empires. Have any one seen Age of empires 3, that game look good.

I think consoles are definitely here to stay. A PS2 now costs about $150ish??? A computer able to do some good gaming, you'll spend more than that on your video card alone. I'm sure a lot of the people who own PS2's and Xboxs don't even know that you can play games on the PC besides solitaire.

i've still got most of the old consoles i bought years ago. but i can only afford to buy them when they're old hat. except the PS2 that i bought new. And that was only as i had no dvd player at the time and wanted a PS2 so the kids could play on eye-toy on it.
i used to be into pc games too, but never got the time now, so it's the consoles once in a while. plus i got sick of the nonstop graphic card upgrade nonstop - its bloody ridiculous. The PC is a fanstastic thing though, i've been into them since about 1986.

I got a PS1, PS2, SNES with *cough cough* copier, and a Dreamcast. I rarely use those lately tho as i'm always posting on here :)

i like to have a few different things for variety for the kids. We all love Simpson Hit and Run the best, on the PS2 , its fantastic fun

that age of empires looks cool, i used to luv playing the first one.

they had best be here to stay because im at Uni learning to make games for them!

its an exciting time at the mo, the ps3 and xbox 360 will be the first machines to out power a PC, and that has to be good. However it wont be long till the PC is in front again

I hate playing games on the PC, cant enjoy it at all, only game that works for me on a pc is Champ Manager, apart from that i play everything on my ps2 or xbox

i used to love the old warcraft games on the pc. and the settlers, the dooms/quakes etc too (obviously). still play the dooms etc on linux now and then. the last games i played on pc were castle wolfenstein, clive barker's undying, medal of honour etc. which reminds me i didnt finish deus ex, was doing really well on that til i binned the last PC. ive got the save files still so i will have to carry on with that one
