Are DVD Back-ups darker than the original

    Hi Dudes
    I use 1 Click DVD Copy with Any DVD and copy to DVD to burn the disc.Has anybody else used these programs?, if so are your copies darker than the original disc?

    Seems darker on PC playback but ok on standalone DVD player/TV playback

    Never had darkness problems. If the picture is different through your monitor it is probably due to the pixel rate, monitors produce a "richer" colour. AnyDvd only removes protection etc.
    When is it darker?

    Agree, both originals and backup copies seem darker (richer?) on the PC monitor versus playback on standalone DVD player/TV. I did not state this properly in my first reply. I see no difference in copies (without compression) and originals.
