Topic pretty much says it all.I want to start importing some games and I don't illegally mod my system or ruin the warranty.I know some people who have the slide card and swap discs and they say it works very well.I want to purchase one so i can start importing games but I am not sure if they are illegal in Canada or not I am just afraid if it is and were to get stopped at the border.If anyone can let me know id greatly appreciate it thanks.
I don't see why they would be after all its just a oddly shaped piece of plastic and they don't void your warranty so you don't need to worry about that

hey, before you go and buy one.....u might wanna try making one.....i know there is a forum that gives you perfect directions on how to make one....i mad one out of a blockbuster rewards card...and it works like a charm.....you can use any gift card.....just make sure it is not too flimsy.....and uh....i dont think the cops are gonna ask you why you have a cut up piece of plastic....and.....why would they want to go thru your stuff.....lol....
Yeah i found the diagram here I may try.Id still need the swap magic discs though and they cost around $20.00 I mean the slide card costs like 2.00 I might as well get one thrown in.As for customs they always go through my packages everytime i recieve one it has yellow tape on it from being inspected.Thanks for the replies I still haven't bought one lol so im not sure what im doing yet.
Well if you think about it, $20 isn't much, for a ps2 "game". And you can probally get it cheaper on ebay like I did. You know I alreaddy said that lol
