Are the new XBOX 360 hitachi drives moddable?

    Hi Gurus,

    I was told by a friend that the new xbox 360 hitachi drives needed a chip to to be modded. Is this true???

    yes. hitachi 79fl not unmoddable, just harder to mod. do a search on "hitachi 79fl" and there should be a thread on how to mod.
