Hi guys got got a Digi box it flashed okay but when i connect it up to the tv it shows the main menu but i cant do anything with the remote i tried the buttons on the box eg the up&down still nothing the display is showing 000.Any help would be great
i dont think this is the batteries. for some reason if u use the new firmware (which is missing TP's), you cannt falsh the orignial again. the flash works, however the navigation does not work when booted up. anyone sorted this yet
here is sum info about these boxes: SCANNING IN CHANNELS: 1) When initially scanning afetr firmware v2 2) Select TW then NETWORK then AUTOSCAN 3) 10-30 seconds later a list of nerwoks will show 4) DONT select the area you live in. instead select the NET ID that corrolates to the network list in this forum then OK.(If you cant find this, send me your email address, As there is no option to upload the file to this site). 5) Encryped channels may not work at this time so change to one of the blue channels on your channel list and leave it there for a while. Dependant on how your signal strength is, this may take up to an hour - mine only took 30 seconds in Liverpool. SORTING CHANNEL LIST (BLUE is encrypted, white is FTA) 1) Push the white button on the remote then select ALL then OK 2) While on the channel list select menu to edit channels, favourites and favourites names (Similar to Dreambox Bouquets). select BACK then OK to SAVE amendments. Still havn't got 7day EPG going yet, box has been on an encrypted channel, in standby/powerscan mode for a few hours now and no update. This is accessable by pressing the EPG button, then 0 (Zero). If you are using anLCD/Plasma, goto the MENU-SYSTEM SETTINGS-A/V OUTPUT and change TV aspect to 16:9 then DISPLAY FORMAT to FULL. The P+ ands P- buttons on the remote are used as page up & down in the channel listings. The Blue button is for changing the aspect ratio. SAVING the CHANNEL list (I knew how to do this. It's the uploading I cant figure out) 1) Connect to PC by cable (oh course) 2) Open the LOADER software 3) Choose TOOL-Si-RECEIVE, then click open and name the file then OK 4) Using the Arnet remote goto MENU-INSTALLATION (pass:0000)-DATA DOWNLOAD 5) Select CHANNEL DATA TRANSFER 6) On the LOADER software click START then press send on the ARNET MENU Done! saved as *.Si As i said, only prob is that can't upload the damn list to other boxes. You can also backup the S/W (not sure what this is, I think it's software). I have tried saving this to my PC (*.BIN) then flashing a new Arnet with this using the normal RED-RED-STANDBY procedure but this just flashes as normal. Not too sure what the 'K-Table' and 'Loader' options are for on the LOADER software, they both save as *.BIN files.
just got a reply from the software developers. the next version of the software will have the capacity to upload channel lists - yippee
Got it working it seems to be a problem if your using vista...I used an old laptop i had flashed the box, pluged it in, scan for programs and ive all the channels
