just got my reciever a yamaha rxv 2500, now to upgrade the speakers has anyone had any experience with ascend acoustics or axiom speakers
i have the rx-v1500 and have heard of the axiom speakers, but not the other you listed. can you test them out? do you have a store that can demo them for you? what is you goal here? what do you listen to more of.. music or watch movies?
probably 80% movies and no you cant test them in a store but they both offer 30 days money back i've had terrible experiences trying out speakers in store, last week i had 3 salesmen and one manager trying to high pressure me into buying a set of nuance speakers, the phone rang and i basically ran out when the managers back was turned, the real insulting part was when i found out nuance speakers were junk, never again this time im going to try internet sales only, speaker company's that rely on good word of mouth and positive reviews to earn people's business, thats how i came across www.axiom.com and ascendacoustics.com both get rave reviews
just for kicks......... try here, they have good reveiws and good prices. i was interested in these myself.... http://www.fluance.com/index.html and if the saleman wont let you test them out, then they dont need your business. if they wanna make the sale, they will hook you up. after all, the majority are on comission.
