I tried Ashampoo's support about this and never got a response. I can't get Burning Studio (ver 5 or 6) to burn multi-session data disks on DVD+R media. Maybe once I can add some files, but after that when I put the DVD in to add to it, the files are not showing up. It says it's saving the session, (and not finalizing) but they don't show up the next time I open Ashampoo to add to the DVD+R. The files are on the disk. I can read them in the drive and use them normally. They just aren't showing up in the Burning Studio GUI anymore. It's like it's a new blank disk. So I'm afraid to experiment with adding anymore in case doing that would somehow make what I've got on the disc unreadable in the drive. I don't have the problem with multi-session data disks using CD-R and DVD-RW. Ashampoo reads them fine and adds them to the list in the GUI window before I add more. Ashampoo doesn't have that many settings that the user can play with, but I've tried toggling back and forth between disk at once and no dao, and finalize/don't finalize and it doesn't seem to make any difference. (Unless it's okay to add more even though the the GUI seems empty...but as said, I've been afraid to try that.) There is no actual place to click for "multi-session". I don't save any project files. Could that be why? Although I haven't saved any project files for the other disk media and that hasn't caused any problems. Anyway, it would sure be nice if I could use my DVD+R's to their full capacity for data storage and not waste them. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
