I've noticed throughout the forums that people will post a question but find their own answer prior to or after a response. Usually it'll be something like:
My suggestion is for all members who notice this to ask the member that posted question to post how the issue was resolved.

I just picture people "receiving updates on threads" waiting for the answer to post but end up finding something similiar to the above quote.

I just think in a small way it could in turn make a big impact for the better on the forum. With people like ddp and quote like:
and [bold]MANY[/bold]others that attempt to accomplish what I'm referring is out there and not to mention Rule 4:that would back this as well.

Since a large number of people fail to read the rules anyway, all of us in the forums pushing this is probably one of the most effective ways.

    My 2 Cents

i do often ask ppl to come back with progress, good or bad, but i find that a lot of them still don't. i very often stumble over old replies i'd made while looking for help with new threads and again, most of them are just forgotten. a few i replied to as part of the stumble just to nudge the posters and a couple of them did actually reply back, but i think it's the nature of the beast, they just wander off. i will however try to ask that each time i post when i remember

And that is why I usual ask that
(usual, i maen = so far only Finnish aD forum...)

But I`m ready to ask it here when I see someone to say like that:
Because some1 will need that knowledge... teach and learn.
