I was just wondering if anyone knew how to alter the aspect ratio on Xilisoft's DVD to iPod converter so that the ripped DVDs fill the full screen on the iPod (ie 4:3 ratio). I've tried altering the Aspect thing on the side and also altering the 'Zoom' seting, but they still play as a widescreen letterbox on my iPod. With a screen as small as the iPod's I'd prefer it if I could fill it. Failing any solution to this, can anyone recomend another DVD to iPod ripping program?
I'm unsure of how to do it with Xilisoft, but I would recommend using PQ DVD if you don't mind spending the extra money for another program. There are guides stickied to the top of the forum [the links in bold] that go through how to use different conversion programs, and most importantly show you various quality conversion programs.
Thanks. Wasn't that impressed with PQ though. Have gone back to using Xilisoft and will live the black bars I guess.
