I've been trying to copy a DVD using DVD copy plus (with VCD easy). however, my CD-RW is always greyed out so i can't use it. Message: "No Reader/Writer found or ASPI driver problem". I updated the ASPI driver to 4.71 from the link given but it still doesn't work. i even tried just creating the .bin (and .cue) files so i could burn using another program. however, nero doesn't recognise them and blindwrite and cdrwin say the same ASPI driver error. i've tried all the troubleshooting guides and help pages already. my CD-RW is a Lite-On LTR-32125W (32x12x40) with no other prob's. OS: WinXP
    Thanks in advance

Open VCD Easy>settings>and where it says force driver, change to generic mmc. Stay with ASPI 4.6 layers m8.

U should try upgrading nero to the latest version. This seems to solve the windows XP aspi problems.
