I just picked this game up at Best Buy for $30. I have read great reviews on the game but I was wondering how many hours of gamepaly I should expect. I noticed that there is no online gamepaly. I have been playing COD4 for about 2 hours a day, and I have not even slightly begun to get board with it. One of the best games that I have ever played. Will Assassins Creed stack up?

they are 2 totally different games but I am still playing cod4 and Assassins Creed I have had as well. I hope that you didn't open the game yet for a return. ( that is just my opinion).. You can beat the game within 7 hours the main game that is. There are also other things that are in the game like finding all the flags in every city but that is not necessary to beat it. When I first got the game I was amazed by the graphics, detail and type of game ( I mean era wise) but you will quickly find out that the game gets redundant very quick. The mini missions in each location are pretty much the same on every location and the dialog again is the exact. Dont get me wrong it was fun but north the 59.99 that I paid when released and beat in within a week. It is definitely worth renting to beat but not to purchase unless you just like to collect games.

So basically what you're saying is that the replay value sucks. Dang, I was really looking forward to this title. No I have not opened it so it can definitely go back.. In fact I was waiting for some replys to this post until I crack it open. How does it stack up to GTA...with regards to replay. With GTA I could play for hours and not get board, even if all I did was drive the cars around or pick up whores, do the deed, and then steal their money. Ah, too much fun.

none at replay value. I was pissed to see how short the game really was. I was playing for about 1.5 hours a night and was done in less then 1 week. I was really pissed. the game could have been way better. Really man just take it back and get something else. Rent it and beat it in a weekend. save your money. Again dont get me wrong. its definitely a rental the graphics are amazing and vast but replay value----none. dialog-------redundant a/i-----easy. controls-------good. graphics-------great. game--------to much hype for what could have been a truly great game especially for a game about the crusades based on historically correct times and free roaming. the assassination are cool but doesn't make up for the game. At first I was truly floored them I was like that is it. all that hype for this. that blows. I hope part 2 is much much much better

It is a really amazing game to begin with. But the repetitive misssions make the game swag and once completed i traded mine back in.
