same thing happened to me it took for ever to load. I will say that the game is pretty interesting. The story line is crazy. Really got to say I haven't played this one that much as I can't get off COD 4 Multiplayer

 

yeah it fixed the prob. all games are back to normal now and assassins creed works perfect. first time i put the disc in a few days ago it asked me to update, i did and the screen went black and it took a few tries to load the game but all is well now

 

COD4 -- Same here I cant get enough of the Multi Player to load Assassins up...

 

assian creed everyone is making a big rant about. what's so good about that game besides the good graphics?

 

wow u already have it downloaded? im trying to download it but it goes an average of 2.2 kb/s. am i the only one goin this slow?

 

i just started playing this game a while ago, there is alot of talking in the game.. but overall i really have to say it's quite good.

 

its a good game, but the controls are hard to get used to, but its all good. the gameplay is interesting and you canny really explain it until you play it and make your own observation....i know kids who waited in line for the release, played for 2 hours and brought it back dissapointed.

but i like it

 

i didnt find the controller than hard, i dislike how they always talk in the game and the loading is pretty slow.

 

i guess everyone has different taste. i personally like a game with good gameplay mixed with some dialogue or cutscene that tells a very good story.

 

Assassin's creed is fun to begin with, but then you have to do the same thing for 15 hours. it's just so repeatitive- it's stupid. I totally agree with IGN's rating of 7 for this game.

one of the biggest flops ever.

 

Assassins creed is a beautiful game, i hav modded 360 toshiba-samsung and hav been playing the game since monday and the game was 2 b released on friday and im still on xbl it was a risk but worth it!

Ok everyone here's my problem. Let me know if anyone else is experiencing this:

Ok so I play the backup of the game and it's fine. This game by the way is pretty badass Anyway so I get to a certain spot in the game and a side screen pops up saying there's a disc read error and has to exit. So I'm forced to exit the game pretty pissed off... I cleared the cache on my xbox 360 like someone had advised earlier in this thread. I start the game back up and go back to the same area I was in where it kept freezing on me and BAM! It does it again... I'm not sure if it's the game itself or if it was a bad burn. I don't see anyone else experiencing this problem so that sucks for me I guess. I can't excel in the game because it won't let me get passed this area on the map! Ahh!

 

burn the game at 1x, its going to take like 1.5 hrs to burn but the skipping and disc read error should go away....do you have a hitachi or a sammy drive.....if a hitachi, yea they suck and the best fix is to mod the laster pot and put the elastic band on the laser reader.....check arround here on the fix...i posted it somewhere about 2 weeks ago and it helped me with reading issues.

 

Hmm Ok I'll give that a shot, xbubbax . I have the Sammy drive so no need for that little Hitachi mod I guess. I'll try to reburn it and see what happens. Thanks dude. I'll let ya know.

 

Dude does that shit works to u ? cause i try that and it doesnt work i only get a black screen and the dashboard now show the game name.

 

probably the game file itself. where did u download ur game backup from? I remember i had this game F.E.A.R files and every time i am in this map, the game freeze, i thought it was my system but i am sure it was the game backup.. nor problems with the way i burn it cuz i always burn my games at 4x using imgburn with verbatim dvd +R DL.

Hi gizmoo , i have wasted 3 damm verbatims in these shit and have downloaded 2 diferent files but still only get the damm black screen , if u find any patch of fix to these problem let me know dude i will do the same,
