    Hi,

    Could you please have a look at my log. My PC just started to run slow connecting to web pages etc...

    Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Molder

    Your HijackThis log is clean. However, there are two things I have to point out to you:

    1. Your version of HijackThis is outdated. This may cause some inaccuracy in the way your HijackThis log reflects your computer.

    2. A clean HijackThis log does not necessarily mean a clean computer.

    I believe your problem is that you connect to webpages slowly? Please note that malware is not the only problem which can cause slow connection to webpages. Try the following procedures in order:

    1. Please download Advanced Windowscare Personal, install it, update it, check all items for scanning, and then repair all problems found. Please do not be alarmed if the "Security Defense" portion has more than over 20,000 items to be fixed. It is natural and normal.

    2. Click on your Start button, Run, and type in services.msc. Click on OK, and when a new window pops up, scroll down to DHCP Client. Click on the option to Stop the service, wait for 5 seconds after it has finished stopping, and then click on Start the service. Do not be alarmed if your internet connection undergoes problems during the 5 seconds of waiting. Now, reboot, and see if your problem is still there.
